Rachel IVF

Seoul.  Rachel IVF Hospital.

Frustration.

Lost in translation.

Google Translate.

Arg!

Joseph and I have been trying to communicate with Rachel IVF for almost a month now.  We have emailed twice (per their website it is what is asked of you to do the first time) and we have also telephoned.  All to no avail.  We thought they may have been closed for a couple of weeks due to Lunar New Year.
Today, we looked at their Korean site (you can choose 3 languages when you go to their website: Russian, English and Korean) and at the bottom in tiny print is their phone number.  We telephoned several times and finally someone answered (they open at 9am and when we were calling it was past 10am so we knew they were open).

After a limited conversation in Korean we decided we will need to just go in person our first time but seeing as they are in Seoul we were hoping to bypass that if at all possible.

Rachel IVF is open on Saturday's from 9am until 1pm so go early if you do not have an appointment!

We will go next week to see what we see.

Things like this usually work best in person anyway:  they cannot get frustrated and hang up the phone and neither can we.

  1. Hi kimchiskid!

First off I'd like to congratulate you on your success!I know it's been a while since your IVF journey, but I have a question regarding your decision to try your 2nd round of IVF at Rachel vs. Maria. My wife and I are scheduled to fly from the US to Busan to give IVF a go at the Maria Clinic in Busan in just under 2 weeks time. I'm wondering why you decided to try IVF at Rachel the 2nd time around.

    Thank you!
    Matt
