Jasper has had his first fever and sickness.
Hfmd, fever, and a touch of post, nasal, drip.
His temp got as high as 103.5 and scared us for a hot minute. Gave Jasper fever reducing meds: ibuprofen.

Jasper also has said his first word (we think?): dada/daddy. It is hard to know if it is his first word or if he just got lucky.
It is Saturday night and Jasper had a better day today. He is still dehydrated, but he began drinking milk again. We had been feeding him yogurt, prune puree, and baby cereal that mom sent us mixed with water to help hydrate him.
He seems to be feeling better although he is still sleeping a lot more during the day. Still taking it easy.

He is supposed to be contagious until his spots disappear then his diaper will be contagious for another 2 weeks-ish...we will send him back to school when his spots are gone.
So sorry Jasper is sick, I hope he makes a speedy recovery. By the way all your pictures are beyond cute!!
