So Tired

Munchkin is growing well and fast. He is already wearing 6 month clothes and he is already on the highest standing level on his ExerSaucer. Wow.

He is eating well and most often takes his naps on time as well. Sleeping at night is going well but he is waking up 1 time each night about 1 or 2am because he works himself out of the swaddle and works his way to the top of the crib and wakes himself up. Doesnt cry, just babbles amd usually goes back to sleep himself after 20 or 30 minutes. We dont pick him up and Joseph has been handeling most of that.  He will sometimes wake at about 5am again in the same way so I will bring him to bed with us and he goes back to sleep until 7am.
We stick to his schedule like glue and I am giving that schedule credit for his good behavior. That, and mom says we are extremely lucky.
He is generally following the Wonder Weeks behavior schedule and during the day sometimes his 1-3pm nap is terrible. He will scream and cry and only sleep on us and only if we hold him. That has only happened a couple of times but whew. Sooooo glad it isnt the norm.
We take a walk at 415p each day and that is where he generally gets his 430-530 cat nap.  He does not always sleep but it helps.
Joseph and I just made our first batch of baby food: sweet potato with breast milk. My 2nd to last bag from the beginning of April.  Excited and hope he eats it.  We will try it out on Jasper's 5 month day and see how he responds and go from there.  Right now we are going to try and make most of his baby food ourselves except for fruit--it is really expensive here. Iherb.com has a nice selection of baby foods to choose from.
Excited to have him try out his first foods!

So I had 3 months maternity leave plus 3 weeks vacation. Now I have 6 more weeks of vacation thanks to MERS happening in Korea (no worries). We are so lucky to be able to spend so much time with Jasper without him in daycare.  Almost half a year. Yay!
September will most likely begin daycare for him. I will not be able to spend as much time at home with my promotion.
We found an even better daycare that is more of what we were looking for. English speaking, vans with car seats, weekly/daily toy cleaning, project based learning, etc. Seems good so far. We shall see how it pans out. Seems too good to be true. Price is the same. 400 a month until his first birthday then it lowers to 360.
