Ikea Outing

This weekend we went to Ikea. It is located on the outskirts south of Seoul. We decided to take the cheep way there and it took 3 hours instead of just taking the fast train straight there-1 hour.  In addition we were standing room only on the way there for an hour and a half train ride.  Not a big issue at all. Just sat in seats until the paying passenger arrived to it. A type of musical chairs.
It was really fun. Our first adventure with Jasper.  We wore him in the baby carrier and took a backpack and the smaller stroller with us. wore him on the train there and just held him on the way back since we had our own seats.

We only saw about 1/3 of the store. It is huge and we quickly became de-energized. We ate the meatballs and they were the best we have had in 4 years. The salmon was dry but tasty. The salmon lasagne good but not enough salmon.  Worth the trip.
Our day was extremely exhausting, however.  Making sure Jasper didn't get too overstimulated and had somewhat of a nap when it was time. Jasper did really well all things considered.  He didn't flip out but he was definitely very aware.  Everyone on the train both there and back wanted to touch him, take his photo, and hold him. Definitely a soap bath day (vs plain water).
Our trip home was less adventurous as we had our own seats, thank goodness.  We got home just in time for Jasper's bath.  After Jasper fell asleep Joseph and I could barely keep our eyes open.
Jasper stirred a little at midnight and had to be swaddled but other than that he was really tired and slept until 730am. He caught up today on the rest of his sleep.
Super fun family outing!
