Mom

My mommy is here! In Korea.  Yippee! 

First time holding Jasper :-)

My mom is here for a month.  A wonderful month.  She will mainly stay with us, but she will also go visit Kate for a week or so in her town. 
Today mom held Jasper for about half the day and fed him and "played" with him.  We emailed dad some photos and it isn't the same without him!  Wishing he were here too. 
Dinner of salmon. chicken salad and...that's it.  This coming weekend, Kate is coming on Saturday and then on Sunday, a Korean family we are close with will come visit us and meet mom.

Mom brought a lot of gifts and things from her and dad and also from family and friends back home.  I had no IDEA so many people wanted to wish us the best.  It means a lot to Joseph and I that so many people are in love with our son.  He is pretty great.  He rarely cries, and if he does he is hungry or wants to be held or swaddled.  We usually need to wake him to feed him and then he goes right back to sleep (so far!).  We follow the "diaper change, feed, burp, sleep" routine right now.  Either every 2 or 3 hours and then repeat.  During the day, we try and keep him awake a little more so perhaps he will sleep later during the night...no such luck yet but we are hoping!
