Snags

Do you like a snag on your favorite sweater or scarf?  I don't.  In fact, I cannot think of anyone who does. 

Medical snags are even worse.  

We have hit a snag in our baby making.  


*harrumph*

I will not put too many details now but more of a general idea of what's happening.  

We are seeing a specialist in Seoul and have been and will be making more trips to Seoul for more testing for various reasons.  We need to go to Seoul to get the expertise and the specific testing we need.  

We are unable to get this kind of testing in Daejeon.  It just isn't possible.  We have seen one doctor in the Gangnam area for some particular testing and based on our results we did more tests.  When we receive the results of this new round of testing we will see what we see.  The doctor even suggested we see an even better doctor (and he is in the top 3 of his field in South Korea) and so he has written us a referral note and we will be making an appointment with him depending upon the results of this most recent testing. 

We feel quite discouraged and a bit sad, but in light of our most recent trip to see the doctor, baby making has been put on the back burner.  Now it is all about being healthy.  Baby will come later if it's meant to be.
